Kelly - Owner & Teacher
My yoga journey began over 20 years ago as a teenager, and I've been teaching since 2004. My career started on the Gold Coast at Essence of Living, where I mentored with Cheryl Anne Leary, co-owner at the time, for 12 months. This led me to Ubud, Bali, where I trained with Louisa Sears and Emi Wendel of Yoga Arts. During this time, I was invited to teach yoga in Hong Kong for an extended stay.
I then moved to London to live and travel, furthering my teaching passion in various health clubs like Virgin Active and David Lloyd, then naturally progressing into dedicated yoga studios such as the world-renowned Triyoga across Chelsea, Soho, and Shoreditch, and Jiva Health in Wimbledon. I also trained and taught Pilates there and now blend it with yoga into a practice I call Core Flow Yoga. During this time, I ran yoga retreats in Turkey, Egypt, and Spain during the holiday season.
After moving to Perth, I represented Lululemon as a yoga ambassador for 2 years and founded Sun Moon Yoga, opening my own yoga studio space in which I taught and managed along side some amazing teachers that were once students I mentored. At Sun Moon, I built a community-focused studio offering a full timetable of classes like Dynamic Vinyasa Flow, Slow Flow, Flow & Restore, and Core Flow — blending movement, breathwork, and mindfulness for all levels. My two beautiful shih tzu Bear and Bodhi often attended classes and were well loved by all who attended these sessions.
Becoming a mum shifted my focus. I trained and specialised in prenatal and postnatal yoga, baby massage, baby yoga, and paediatric sleep and development. Teaching these classes with my sons by my side led to Blissful Babies Baby Massage & Yoga — supporting new mothers with practical tools for calm, connection, and early development.
Yoga's been my anchor through life's ups and downs — grounding me, challenging me, and connecting me to the present. Now, I'm passionate about gifting this practice to others, helping you find your own strength, calm, and space on and off the mat.

I began my yoga journey 21 years ago to help ward off injuries from martial arts competitive sports and soon became hooked, committing to a daily practice and it eventually took priority over my other sports. I found a wonderful sense of peace and wellbeing with yoga that has stayed with me ever since. I travelled throughout Australia and overseas to seek out workshops, retreats with many wonderful teachers.
However, a desire to explore the history and philosophy of yoga and to deepen my knowledge, lead me to consider teacher training and after much research, I began my Teacher Training with GYA (Greenwood Yoga Academy’s) Advanced Diploma of Holistic Classical Yoga Practices, covering all aspects of Yoga and Yoga Therapy.
I practise many forms of yoga, enjoying the different aspects of various lineages, from Ashtanga, Hatha, Kundalini, Kriya to Power Vinyasa but found I got most benefit and a good understanding of importance of correct alignment practising Iyengar Yoga, a style I stayed with for many years. These days I lean towards a vinyasa flow style in my daily practice and currently teach Vinyasa Flow (Slow Flow, Core and Dynamic), Yin, and Yin Yang.
Yoga has brought joy and peace to my life, seeing me through the ups and downs of life and I have never lost my love of this wonderful gift. I enjoy sharing that with others through teaching and practice.

I began my love of yoga as a teenager, practicing various styles over the last 20 years. I qualified as a Hatha Vinyasa Yoga Teacher in 2017. I have taught chair yoga, Yin/Yang, Children’s Yoga, Pre & Post Natal and Vinyasa classes.
As a qualified senior School Teacher, I also have an interest in Children’s Yoga, particularly incorporating Yoga into my work with teens and anxiety. I have recently finished studying the Mindful Birth Course on Pre + post natal yoga and yoga for active birth and have completed the Kidding Around Yoga for Children course held at Sun Moon Yoga in July 2017. I love to create dynamic and nurturing Vinyasa sequences encouraging my students to explore their mind, body and spirituality with curiosity and wonder.

For the past 10 years, yoga has been a lifestyle choice.
I was never very interested in sport and spent most of my time reading and listening to music, I knew I needed to add something to my ritual which was good for my body and my brain.
This practice has helped me to become a more balanced and motivated person, encouraging me to persevere and welcome the small changes. I fell in love with the routine of feeling good every day.
Teaching yoga is an incredible journey where the learning is endless and the creativity I can incorporate into my classes is limitless. I teach Vinyasa, Yang Yin and Yin classes and have a regular practice incorporating all of these styles.
Dionne - Mentored with Kelly
Dionne has been practicing yoga since her early twenties, trialling many different forms and styles until falling in love with the freedom of flow that comes with Vinyasa, four years ago.
The majority of her personal practice took place at Sun Moon Yoga with Kelly Arnold, and it wasn’t long until she knew she had to share her passion with the world. At the beginning of 2019 she commenced her 200hr training with the well-knownYoga Vine, based in Perth, and began teaching right away.
Dionne teaches all levels of yoga from beginners’ level, slow flow to strong vinyasa. She loves to get creative in her classes, providing students options to push themselves a little further and grow in their practice, balanced with the nourishment and gratitude for our bodies that we all need. She often uses pranayama breathing techniques in her classes and has a strong focus on the safe practice of yoga, not only to avoid injuries, but to ensure students are getting the most from their practice.
Off the mat, she cares deeply for the environment and is an avid advocate for health and wellbeing. You will also find her playing with arm balances and inversions in her lounge at any opportunity she can get! She believes that with teaching yoga comes a responsibility of never ending learning and practices this by attending some of the many workshops available in Perth, continuing her online learning in a range of different areas and forever studying the wonder of anatomy.
