Beginners Yoga Series

This slow moving, deep exploratory yoga series will provide you, the student with the chance to try out all the popular styles we offer here at Sun Moon Yoga. Over the course of 4 weeks we will look at the following styles: 

  • Week 1 -2 Flow Yoga - Learn correct alignment in basic postures, the basic Sun Salutation sequence, hold postures longer, simple breathing techniques

  • Week 3 - 4 Yang Yin Yoga - Continue learning Flow Yoga (this is a yang or active sytle) for the first 1/2 of the class. The second 1/2 we will practice yin yoga postures. Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held from 1 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of tissue up.

These classes are perfect for students new to yoga or for those students wishing to revisit the fundamentals. On completion of this series you will have the experience to attend regular drop in classes. All participants may purchase our one off special offer pass - $60 for 15 classes. If you don’t feel ready simply sign up for the next series until you do!
