30 Day Plank Challege
Take up this 30 day plank challenge, tone up, boost your core and get summer ready!
Planks are an ideal exercise for the abdominal muscles exactly because they engage all major core muscle groups including the transverseabdominus, the rectus abdominus, the external oblique muscle, thighs and arms.
The 30 day plank challenge only has 1 exercise which you have to do each day, and the time spent doing the exercise increases week by week, we build up from 1 minute to 3 minutes to help you build up your core body strength one day at a time.
You only have to do the amount of time shown below starting at 1 minute and building up to 3 minutes in the last 3 days. If you can't quite reach your goal try just adding a little more each day but try not to do less than what you did the previous week or the previous day and by day 30 aim to hold your plank for 3 minutes.
1-8 Sept = 1 minute
9-16 Sept = 1 minute 30 sec
17-23 Sept = 2 minutes
24-27 Sept = 2 minutes 30 sec
28-30 Sept = 3 minutes
All Power Pilates and Core Flow Yoga will feature a plank following the time frame above, you may include this as your plank for the day. On other days please email, facebook, instagram ect you photo or better still timelapse video to Kelly no later than the end of each day.
Monday - 915am
Tuesday - 715am
Wednesday 6am & 530pm
Thursday 930am, 530pm & 635pm
