6 Week Beginners Yoga - Learn All Styles
This slow moving, deep exploratory 6 week course will provide you, the student with the chance to try out all the popular styles we offer here at Sun Moon Yoga. Over the course of 6 weeks we will look at the following styles:
Week 1 -2 Slow Flow Yoga - Learn correct alignment in basic postures, the basic Sun Salutation sequence, hold postures longer, simple breathing techniques
Week 3 - 4 Vinyasa Flow Yoga - Learn full Sun Salutation sequence, learn Warrior Flow Sequence, try different variations of basic postures, connect movement with breath
Week 5 - 6 Yang Yin Yoga - Continue learning a combination of Slow & Vinyasa Flow Yoga as above for the first 1/2 of the class. The second 1/2 we will practice yin yoga postures. Yin Yoga involves variations of seated and supine poses typically held from 1 to 5 minutes, accessing deeper layers of tissue.
This course is perfect for students new to yoga or for those students wishing to revisit the fundamentals. On completion of the course you will have the experience to attend regular drop in classes. All participants may purchase our special offer pass - $59 for 1mth of unlimited classes and try out the rest of the timetable once the course has finished.
